Osceola Middle School is a comprehensive public school located about a mile north of Lake Okeechobee. We serve approximately 700 students in grades 6-8. We employ 75 faculty and staff members, including 44 instructional staff. Our demographics include a student body that is 51% white, 35% Hispanic, 8% African-American and a small population of Native American, Asian and Multiracial students. Osceola Middle School opened in 1996 and the custodial and maintenance staff has helped maintain the appearance of our facilities since the day we opened. Our school has wireless capabilities throughout and we are 1:1 with all OMS students having access to chromebooks throughout the day.
The faculty and staff of Osceola Middle School will provide an engaging, rigorous learning environment that is meaningful to middle school students. We will strive to equip students with the skills needed to be contributing members of a global society in the 21st century.
